Visit the app store on your phone and search for "Utica Community Schools".
Install the app.

Click on the school or schools you would like to follow. 
You may follow one or more schools or programs.
Selections can be changed at any time by clicking on the wrench and hammer icon in the lower right corner of the home screen. 
Click on the white arrow in the header.  
Click "Start my app".
You are now ready to receive notifications and access information from UCS on your mobile device.

Our Mission

The mission of Utica Community Schools’ Community Education Department is to offer programs, activities and opportunities for infants through senior citizens that extend beyond the traditional K-12 programs meeting the needs of our diverse community.

The UCS Community Education Department offers Early Childhood Programs, School Age Child Care, Enrichment Programs for children and adults, and Adult Education. These programs are offered with the same commitment to quality that characterize our nationally recognized programs and services.

Registration is now open for winter and spring enrichment classes.  Click on the Enrichment tab above to view classes.

Nursery/Preschool Registration for 2019/20 School Year
Phone in registration for 2019-20 school year Early Childhood programs will begin February 26, 2019 for in district residents.  Out of district residents may register by phone at the end of March.  Click on the Early Childhood tab above for additional information.

Break Camps
Now registering for Mid Winter Break Camp and Velocity Jr. STEAM classes.  Click on the School Age Child Care tab above for more information.

Early Childhood Open House
Open House is scheduled for Wednesday, February 13, 2019 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at all district buildings that house a current preschool program.  For additional information, please visit the Early Childhood tab above.

ESL Conversation Workshops
ESL students can participate in a weekly session where they can practice their conversation skills.  Participants MUST be registered UCS ESL students.
Fridays:  9:30 am to 11:00 am and 11:00 am - 12:30 pm in the Community Education Center Library

Utica Community Schools is Michigan's second largest school district.  

Student achievement in the district outpaces all county, state and national averages. The district's graduation rate is 12 points higher than the state average and students are staff are regularly honored for excellence.
